Experience & qualifications * _ years banking experience of which _ years at an executive level with exposure to money recovery related activities, through legal means * should be an attorney-at-law special skills * excellent communication skills and negotiation skills. * need to be number savvy and sound knowledge of data mining and statistics in a computerised background. * special skills to draft plaints and other relevant documents pertaining to money recovery and debt recovery actions. * management/ leadership skills job profile * initiate litigation activities and parate executions in a timely manner and ensure the achievement of the overall targets. * ensure that all credit card and consumer loan customers who are __+ dpd are served with letters of demand as a backing towards field visits/collections by external debt colleting agencies. * initiate and enter into customer negotiations for amicable settlement, where considered necessary and documenting them. * track efficiency and effectiveness of each collection process and provide feedback to manager consumer litigation/sm-consumer collections through mis. * ensure that all actions are guided by the debt collection guidelines and policy. * build checks and controls to surface irregularities and ensure that all applicable audit recommendations are strongly adhered to. * ensure that there is co-ordination between the internal team activities, between the team leaders of tele collections/ agency management/recoveries and the litigation process. * motivate, manage and counsel the team to ensure their continued focus towards achievement of overall targets. interested candidates please visit www.jobster.lk
